St George's College in Jerusalem has been described as
the "best kept secret in the Anglican Communion"
The College is a unique centre of continuing education in the Anglican Communion, offering short-term courses as well as facilities for individual reflection and study. It is open to both clergy and laity.
Since its founding in 1962, the College has hosted participants from 92 countries and 96 Christian traditions. Course members engage with a wide range of biblical texts in the context of the land; encounter Jewish, Christian and Muslim faith as it is exercised today; and come to appreciate anew the rich fabric of faith and spirituality that this environment offers to the Pilgrim.
An obituary of one of the founding members of the College, The Revd Dr John Donald Wilkinson, can be read here
