The St George's College Jerusalem Trust is registered with the Charity Commission and is committed to supporting the College's continuing education programme in Jerusalem. The Trust works through the British Regional Committee, one of three regional committees (there are committees in Australia and USA) supporting the College's ministry. The UK Officers are:

Chairman - Bishop Richard Cheetham bishop.richard@southwark.anglican.org
Hon. Secretary - Margaret Humphries Margaret.humphries@southwark.anglican.org
Hon. Treasurer - Rev John Angle hopebethlehem@btinternet.com

There is a strong Regional committee who meet twice a year and many Dioceses have supporters who represent the College in their area (for details contact the Trust secretary). The UK Trust has over a hundred supporters who subscribe regularly to the Trust. They help to give financial support to the College through the provision of bursaries, and also by supporting UK clergy and lay people who are on short term volunteer programmes of teaching and work at the College.

Please contact the Trust treasurer if you would like to become a regular supporter and subscriber and receive the yearly publication of Update which keeps supporters in touch.

BURSARIES FOR PARTICIPATION IN COURSES AT ST GEORGE'S COLLEGE

The Trust encourages those interested in attending one of the excellent courses at St George's College Jerusalem to apply for a bursary. We believe the courses are excellent value for money, and participation can be a deeply spiritual and often faith transforming experience. Anyone who is involved in Christian ministry in any denomination whether lay or ordained can apply. Courses are suitable for clergy on sabbatical or seeking a period of refreshment; for active and involved lay members of churches; for students and ordinands. A letter of recommendation from a Bishop or other church leader, Vicar, Pastor or College Principal is required with a letter of application and brief CV. Depending on circumstances the St George's College Jerusalem Trust will give a bursary of up to 60% of the course fees. There are other Trusts both local and national that may support participation in these courses (some of which may qualify for credits as part of other study programmes in UK).
Those seeking bursaries are asked to contact Rev John Angle at hopebethlehem@btinternet.com
*** Please note that College courses are costed in dollars - prices quoted in sterling may change according to current exchange rates at the time of doing the course ***
